LIFETIME WARRANTY: We stand firmly behind our products, offering a lifetime warranty on pins, joint assemblies, and other attachments, including dislodged seals and panels, subject to certain exclusions. See [Exclusions from Warranty]

FINISH WARRANTY: The finish on our badges, hat badges, and medals is covered by a three-year (3) warranty under normal wear and tear, provided our Care Instructions  are followed and subject to certain limitations. See Limitations on Refinishing. For items older than three years or otherwise outside the scope of the warranty, refinishing is available through our Non-Warranty Refinishing Services.

DUTY TO INSPECT: Please inspect your items promptly upon receipt. Claims for manufacturing defects (excluding those arising from normal wear and tear) must be submitted within ninety (90) days of delivery, unless otherwise required by law or in extraordinary circumstances.

ENAMEL WARRANTY: This lifetime warranty covers detached epoxy (soft enamel) from your badge or other items. However, it does not cover cracked or broken hard enamel. Hard enamel, which is similar to glass, can shatter if dropped and cannot be repaired with new hard enamel, as the high-heat process required would damage the finished badge. FLEXBADGE WARRANTY: If your FlexBadge arrives damaged or with any manufacturing defects, we will replace the defective item(s) at no cost to you. Additionally, the FlexBadge comes with a one-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects caused during our production process. Please note that this warranty does not cover mistakes made by the customer when placing their order or normal wear and tear.

ACCESSORIES: Our accessories—including collar ornaments, belt buckles, award bars, nameplates, and leather wallets—are backed by an industry-leading three (3) year warranty against manufacturing defects. If any item breaks, rips, or becomes dislodged within this period, we will repair or replace it free of charge, provided that our Care Instructions have been followed and the items have not been negligently or intentionally mishandled.

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY

  • Minimal Variations: Each item is expertly crafted using state-of-the-art machinery. As a natural part of the production process, slight variations may occur. These minimal differences do not affect the functionality or quality of the product and are not considered defects.
  • Original Purchaser Only: The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchasing agency and does not extend to resellers, collectors, or badge collections.
  • Damage from Mishandling: Damage caused by negligent or intentional mishandling is not covered under warranty.
  • Improper Cleaning: Damage resulting from improper cleaning methods, including the use of abrasive or chemical cleaners, is excluded from warranty coverage. See Care Instructions.
  • Extensive Damage: The warranty does not cover extensive damage that renders the item irreparable. In such cases, we may recommend remaking the item.
  • Refinishing Limitations: The refinishing process—whether under warranty or not—cannot eliminate deeper scratches or dings. During refinishing, the old lacquer is removed, the item is thoroughly cleaned, polished to a high luster, and coated with a fresh layer of lacquer. While this process restores shine and appearance, pre-existing deep scratches or dings will remain visible.

  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any modifications to an Entenmann-Rovin Co. product by a third party or the user will void the warranty.
  • Failure to Submit a Timely Claim: Claims for manufacturing defects reasonably apparent at the time of delivery must be submitted within ninety (90) days of delivery, unless otherwise required by law or under extraordinary circumstances. Claims submitted after this period will not be covered under warranty.

HOW TO SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM

  • Inspect your order promptly: Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Warranty claims for manufacturing defects (not related to normal wear and tear) must be submitted within ninety (90) days of delivery.
  • Contact your Account Manager: Email your Account Manager with a detailed description of the issue. Be sure to include your invoice number for reference.
  • Provide photos: Attach clear photos of the item, showing both the front and back.
  • Assessment and next steps: Your Account Manager will review the information to determine if the item appears to be covered under warranty. In some cases, photographs may not clearly show the condition of the item. If needed, we may request that you send the item to us for a physical evaluation before confirming warranty coverage.
  • Shipping label (if applicable): If the item is deemed eligible for warranty service, we’ll provide a prepaid shipping label. For non-warranty repairs, please refer to Non-Warranty Repairs, Changes & Refinishing
  • Repair timeline: Once we receive the item, we’ll confirm the expected completion and shipping date. Warranty repairs are typically completed within 14 business days.
  • Shipping after repair: After the repair is completed, the item will be shipped back to you at no additional cost.
  • Shipping fees for older claims: Warranty repairs requested more than three (3) years after purchase will incur shipping fees.

  • All Sales Are Final
    Each item is custom-made and is not kept in stock. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds. Please review all details carefully before placing your order.
  • Modifying or Cancelling Your Sales Order
    • All sales are final and non-returnable.
    • Exception: You may cancel or modify your order within one (1) business day of receiving an emailed copy of the sales order from your Account Manager.
      • To request a change or cancellation, please reply directly to your Account Manager using the same email thread to help avoid confusion.
    • After production begins: Changes or cancellations may be subject to work-in-process fees.
  • Warranty Claims

Keep your badge or other items looking their best with these simple steps:

Routine Cleaning:

  • Gently wipe with a soft, non-abrasive cloth, such as microfiber.

Occasional Deep Cleaning:

  1. Rinse gently under warm running water.
  2. Apply a small amount of mild liquid dish soap and gently rub to remove dirt or grime.
  3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
  4. Dry completely with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.

Note: Frequent deep cleaning is not recommended, as excessive exposure to water and soap may affect the protective lacquer over time. Stick to routine cleaning for regular maintenance.

Special Care for Badges, Hat Badges, and Medals:

  • Ensure the item is fully dry before placing it in a wallet, case, box, or before wearing it.
  • If storing a wallet badge, periodically vent the case to prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to a green patina.

⚠ CAUTION: What to Avoid

To protect the quality and longevity of your badge or other items, do not use:

  • Household cleaners, disinfectant sprays, or abrasive agents – These can strip the protective lacquer coating, causing dullness and tarnishing.
  • Perfumes or colognes – Avoid direct contact to prevent damage.
  • Polishing – Do not polish your badge. Use the cleaning steps above instead. Abrasive polishing will damage the finish.
  • Ineffective home remedies – Avoid products like jewelry polish, Brasso, toothpaste, ketchup, or vinegar, as they can harm the finish.
  • Over-cleaning or over-polishing – Excessive cleaning can wear down the protective lacquer.
